If I have already had cataract surgery, can I now have Laser Cataract Surgery?

If you have already had cataract surgery, it is likely that your eyes have permanently healed and have encased your intraocular lens (just as the surgery is designed to do). Therefore, another cataract procedure is not possible. However, if you have previously had cataract surgery and would like to reduce your dependence on glasses for distance vision, we may be able to help you with LASIK surgery. LASIK surgery uses a similar technology to the Cataract Laser, but only focuses on reshaping your cornea.
