Because of the delicate area, some discomfort may be experienced. The use of topical anesthetics combined with a relaxing atmosphere help to lessen any discomfort.

It's most uncomfortable at first since it's a new sensation. Any discomfort dissipates quickly and decreases with regular treatments, as less hair is removed each time. Caffeine, menstruation and pregnancy increase skin sensitivity.

What is the recovery time for mini facelift?

It is recommended that patients keep the head elevated when resting and sleeping during the initial stage of mini-facelift recovery. Sutures dissolve in about one week after surgery. Many patients are able to return to work just several days after surgery, but bruising is present for 7-10 days.
