Introducing Telehealth at Center For Sight
Your health is a priority to us. We appreciate your flexibility and support as we navigate this uncharted territory together in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. To continue caring for you during this time, we have incorporated the use of telehealth visits for your safety and convenience.
Many services we provide can be administered through live audio-visual communication technology such as Facetime or Zoom Meetings. If you have a non-critical eye care need, you now have the option to request a telehealth appointment.
The following conditions may be appropriate for telehealth services:
- Inflammation or irritation of the eye
- Pink eye
- Blepharitis (Inflammation of the eyelid)
- Allergies, itchy eyes
- Dry eye
To request a telehealth appointment, call 941.925.2020. Our office staff will complete a brief screening questionnaire to determine if your condition is appropriate for a telehealth visit using video services. Additionally, we will be offering “virtual check-in” appointments for patients who have symptoms that may not warrant an in-office visit or video call, but would like feedback from their physician.
If it is determined you would be better cared for with an in-person visit, we will take the necessary steps to schedule you with your provider while following the appropriate social-distancing and CDC recommendations.
