Dr. Ryan Timko is a Florida board-certified optometric physician and national board-certified optometrist. He is dedicated to providing patients at Center for Sight with state-of-the-art vision care using the latest techniques garnered from his world-class education and his warm, personal manner.

A native of Deland, Florida, Dr. Timko graduated from Deland High School. In his undergraduate studies, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Connecticut. As a scholar athlete at UConn, Dr. Timko impressively juggled his studies with five seasons on the football team. A natural leader, he was chosen as the co-captain in 2000.

Dr. Timko attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts from 2001-2005. His specialties include ocular disease, contact lenses and pediatric vision development and therapy. As his career is now the focus of his life, Dr. Timko has committed himself to providing his patients with the utmost precision and care.

He was chosen by Center for Sight as an optometric physician because of his outstanding history of achievement and dedication to his goals. Dr. Timko is delighted to be back in Florida. He lives in Sarasota and enjoys boating, fishing, running and other outdoor activities that let him soak up the warm, sunny lifestyle.
