Dr. John Fezza has been a member of the Center For Sight team since 1998 and specializes in cosmetic facial and laser surgery. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Duke University, and received his medical education at New York Medical College where he was president of the honors society Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in ophthalmology at Yale University and his two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at Vanderbilt University, widely considered a premier center for aesthetic plastic surgery. In addition, he completed a second fellowship in cosmetic surgery sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His seven years of subspecialty training is focused solely on face and neck surgery, which is his passion. Location: Venice, Sarasota and Bradenton Dr. Fezza is dedicated to helping Center For Sight patients look and feel as good as they see. His expertise in today’s advanced techniques couples the use of lasers for skin smoothing and rejuvenation along with small incisions in the most recent surgical techniques. A nationally recognized author and lecturer on cosmetic facial and laser surgery, Dr. Fezza is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Opthalmology and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Fezza is on the prestigious National Education Faculty for Botox, a Lumenis Laser teacher for physicians world wide, an ad hoc preceptor for ASOPRS fellows and an active Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida. Dr. Fezza enjoys his own great sense of humor as well as a myriad of outdoor athletic activities, whether it’s exercising, a round of golf, tennis, jogging, surfing or skiing. Most of all, he cherishes the time he shares with his wife, Heidi and three sons, Blake, Reed and Tyler.
