The Center For Sight eye care professionals provide a comprehensive range of services to help you maintain the health of your eyes so that you continue to have the best vision possible at every age. Regular eye examinations with your personal optometric physician ensure that your eyes remain healthy and that any problems are detected early so that they may be treated promptly.

We recommend an annual eye examination with an optometric physician for every person after age 40, even if you have not been diagnosed with an eye disease and are not experiencing any problems with your vision.  If you already wear eyeglasses or contact lenses or are experiencing any problems with your vision, you should have a complete eye exam to determine the status of your vision.  During your examination we will check the following:

• Your visual acuity to determine if you could be helped by corrective lenses or laser vision correction or other procedure
• The intraocular pressure of your eyes to determine if you may have glaucoma
• The condition of your retina to see if there is any damage that could affect your eyesight, such as age-related macular degeneration or to determine if any preventive treatments may be indicated
• The lenses of your eyes to determine if cataracts may be forming
• The moisture level of your eyes

Our physicians examine and treat eye disorders and diseases and coordinate all post-operative care.  They provide 24 hour/7 days a week emergency care to all our patients.

If you experience any injury to your eyes, severe pain in your eyes, a sudden change in your vision or a loss of vision, call Center For Sight right away. One of our physicians will see you immediately, or advise you of what to do if it's an emergency.
